Before you purchase a vinyl window, be sure and read the warranty carefully. You may be surprised at what you find, particularly when it comes to exclusions. While a lifetime warranty sounds good, as the saying goes, the devil is in the details.

As an example, this manufacturer has very specific instructions on how their plastic windows are to be handled and failure to do so will void the warranty. Doesn’t sound like they’re overly confident of their window’s ability to withstand the extreme heat, does it?
